About Us

PSGS Mendonoma Glazier

Your local glazier since 1997

Pete & Sons’ Glass Shop is known in the Mendonoma area for providing RELIABLE and HIGH VALUE services in the specialty industry of professional glazing since 1997. We provide glass repair and replacement, windows skylights, tub enclosures, shower doors, mirrors and more for commercial and residential properties.

Based in Anchor Bay, Pete & Sons’ Glass Shop is a family-owned & operated glazing service born from a legacy of local experience. Our story began with local Pete Mayer, a master glazier who served this community for three decades. Today, his son Jeremiah carries that torch, combining decades of old-school glazing knowledge with a contemporary commitment to quality.

Why Location Matters Here

The Mendonoma Coast is beautiful, but it can be an “island” when it comes to logistics. While outside contractors often refuse the drive to Gualala, we call this home.

  • Specialized Logistics: We run our own glass trucks to Santa Rosa weekly to ensure our clients have access to the best materials.

  • Architectural Expertise: From the iconic designs of The Sea Ranch to the diverse homes of Mendocino County, we understand the aesthetic requirements of coastal architecture.

  • We’re Here When You Need Us: We stand behind our work and will always be a phone call away, rain or shine.

Jeremiah Mayer CA Lic# 743891

Owner & Master Glazier

Jeremiah is more than just a business owner; he is a lifelong resident of the Mendonoma area, a graduate of Point Arena High School and all-around booster of all things coastal. Having learned the glazing trade through years of apprenticeship with his father, and carpentry from further years of apprenticeship before opening Pete & Sons’ Glass Shop in 2022, Jeremiah is now a licensed C17 professional who still personally leads the installation for every project.

A True Local Perspective

Jeremiah’s roots in the community run deep, he understands the unique challenges of living and building on the coast. He is a “straight-shooter” who prides himself on being a good, honest person who does exceptional work.

Life on the Coast

When the tools are put away, Jeremiah is a dedicated family man and a competitive spirit:

  • Family First: He lives in the community with his wife and their young son, Everett.

  • The “Co-Pilot”: You’ll often find TukTuk, their energetic Australian Cattle Dog, nearby.

  • On the Course: A semi-professional Disc Golf player, Jeremiah spends his summer Tuesdays and Saturdays on the course.

  • Game Day: On Sundays, you’ll find him rooting for the San Francisco 49ers.
